Education-to-workforce Alignment

Education-to-workforce alignment is all about ensuring that educational systems prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the evolving job market. This involves strategies like creating work-based learning opportunities, designing interdisciplinary programs, and fostering partnerships between educational institutions and industries. For example, initiatives like microcredentialing help students gain specific skills that align with employer needs.

Our goal is to help bridge the gap between what students learn and what employers require by developing labor data tools that faculty can utilize to address challenges like skills mismatches and outdated training methods. It's a dynamic area that requires collaboration across education, government, and business sectors.
